Today, as we celebrate Father's Day, it reminds us about the importance and the challenges of fatherhood. Indeed, fathers have the image of being a bread winner, disciplinarian and authority figure. Real dads take responsibility for their actions and take care of the financial, spiritual, emotional well being of their homes.
Real dads are strong men of God, they are faithful to their calling, and are reliable to those that need them. They are involved in their children’s lives who looks out for their best interests. We have learned that it’s the love, care and presence that define fatherhood.
“For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him." Genesis 18:19
