Pregnant in Faith

Pregnant Woman holding her baby in her tummy. Thinking about christianity.

Pregnancy is a time of beautiful expectations! But it is also a time of new challenges, strong emotions, and major anxieties. While pregnancy is a blessing for which God should be praised, it is also a time of unique difficulties for which God should be trusted. Here are a few scripture verses to inspire confidence, especially when you are expecting.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1Pt 5:7).

"Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Is 40:31).

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations” (Jer 1:5).

"I can do all this through him who gives me strength" (Phil 4:13).

"From birth I was cast on you; from my mother’s womb you have been my God" (Ps 22:10).

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" (Ps 139:13-16).
